Rolex presents a new declination of the Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master, entirely "dressed" in black and 18-carat Everose gold, and equipped with the innovative Oysterflex bracelet, developed and patented by Rolex. This technical bracelet manages to combine, as never before, the robustness and reliability of a metal bracelet with the flexibility, comfort and aesthetics of an elastomer strap. At the heart of the bracelet is an extremely elastic metal blade coated in black elastomer. The new Yacht-Master is offered in two case versions, with a diameter of 40 mm and in the new 37 mm size. The Yacht-Master's new Oysterflex bracelet, developed and patented by Rolex, is an excellent sporty alternative to metal bracelets, without having to compromise on robustness, water-resistance and reliability. Its aesthetics, elasticity and comfort are those of a rubber strap, while its resistance is equal to that of a metal bracelet. In fact, the case and the Oysterlock safety clasp are joined to both parts of the bracelet by a metal blade made of an alloy of titanium and nickel that guarantees great flexibility. The metal blade is coated with high-performance black elastomer, which is particularly resistant to external aggression, long-lasting and comfortable on the wrist. For added comfort, the Oysterflex bracelet is equipped on the inner surface with a patented system of lateral "cushions" that stabilise the watch on the wrist and an Oysterlock safety clasp in 18-carat Everose gold against accidental opening. The rotating bezel is made of Cerachrom (black ceramic) and faithfully echoes the identity of the Yacht-Master, with the numbers and graduation in relief with a polished finish standing out against the matt background. The black dial, a novelty for this model, presents a strong contrast, with the large Chromalight hands and indices coated with a blue long-lasting luminescent material. The movement used, mechanical with automatic winding, is the Rolex calibre 3135. The crystal is sapphire and fitted with a Cyclope lens at the date window.
