Audemars Piguet - Royal Oak Chronograph

To coincide with the start of Expo 2015 in Milan, Audemars Piguet pays tribute to our nation with a special limited edition of the Royal Oak Chronograph. The indexes of the chronograph minute counter, placed at 3 o'clock, form the tricolour: green, white and red, and the box in which the watch is sold features a metal plate reproducing the back of the watch, still in the colours of the Italian flag. The latter bears the engraving 'Swiss Made Limited Edition' (500 pieces available). Another peculiarity of the timepiece is the use of rubber for the strap, a material used in the past only for another chronograph in the same collection, the City of Sails of 2002. The timepiece will also come with a hand-sewn blue alligator strap. The mechanism is entrusted to a self-winding movement, calibre 2385, housed inside a steel case with a diameter of 41 millimetres.
