The celebrated 41 mm case is only 9.5 mm thick and employs an anti-reflective sapphire crystal both to protect the dial and the caseback, with the latter opening to view the IWC-manufactured calibre 5134 (diameter 29 mm, thickness 4.3 mm, 374 components, 38 jewels, power reserve of at least 40 hours, 19,800 vibrations per hour, 22-carat gold skeletonised rotor), a self-winding mechanical movement. Movement finishes include côtes de Genève, circular graining, circular satin-finishing and polished chamfers The indications on the dial are as follows: date display at 3 o'clock, moon phase at 6 o'clock, day at 9 o'clock, month and leap cycle at 12 o'clock, week number by hand in the centre. The titanium bracelet is fitted with a personalised folding clasp. Water resistance is guaranteed up to 2 atmospheres of pressure.
