IWC presents a new Pilot's Watch with a 43 mm case made of steel and combined with a beautiful 'racing green' dial. Already with the 43 mm, IWC had flanked the 46 mm by a smaller version with a simplified movement and a cleaner display. In short, more versatile and wearable but still with the unmistakable style of a Big Pilot. With the new "racing green" dial, the company continues to give new personality to its iconic pilot model, following in the footsteps of the colour trend inaugurated with the coloured ceramic created with Pantone for the Top Gun models presented at Watches and Wonders 2022. Pilot watches yes, but also sporty in the broadest sense of the term.
This version with a green dial harks back to the "racing green" that has characterised British racing cars since 1903. A trend, that of colour, that IWC also reaffirms with the introduction of a new range of straps, available in various colours, including red, blue, black, grey, orange and brown, which are interchangeable thanks to the EasX-CHANGE quick-change system.
"We have noticed a growing desire on the part of our customers to customise their watch, adding a fresh touch, or to express their own personality. Our coloured rubber straps add a playful element and versatility to the collection. They allow customers to choose from a variety of colours and select the one that best matches their mood or style," says Christian Knoop, Chief Design Officer at IWC.
The watch is powered by the automatic 82100 calibre with a 60-hour power reserve. This new Pilot's Watch 43 is available exclusively on IWC.com and in the company's boutiques.
