AHCI - Masters of Horology Event

The Masters of Horology event in Geneva from 30 March to 4 April will take place in the vicinity of Quai des Bergues, where Patek & Cie, now known as Patek Philippe, was founded in 1845. Nearby are Geneva's largest hotels and the old historical quarter of Saint-Gervais, which the 'Cabinotiers' have considered their home since as far back as 1540. The AHCI (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants) was founded in Geneva in 1985 and today has 34 members, 2 applicants and 4 new applicants for 2022. AHCI members are selected from the best independent watchmakers from around the world. To become a member, one must meet strict criteria and possess outstanding technical and creative know-how. A watchmaking enthusiast once told co-founder Svend Andersen: 'At the AHCI you can meet the Watchmakers who will make your Watch'. The date is therefore set for 30 March, when it will be possible to meet, chat and see the creations of AHCI members in a relaxed and safe environment. The event will be attended by Konstantin Chaykin, Svend Andersen, David Candaux, Ludovic Ballouard, Vianney Halter, Raul Pages, John-Mikael Flaux, Daizoh Makihara, Kari Voutilainen, Aaron Becsei, Felix Baumgartner, Miki Eleta, Alessandro Rigotto, Robert Bray, Florian Schlumpf, Bernhard Lederer, Marco Lang, Stefan Kudoke, Sebastian Naeschke, Sebastien Billieres, Anton Suhanov, Sylvain Pinaud and Machial Hulsman.
