Like its timepieces, it combines tradition, fervent creativity and avant-garde spirit: the Roger Dubuis production site in Geneva.
Opened in 2002 in Geneva, the manufacture Roger Dubuis was the first construction of what would later become the Campus Genevois de Haute Horlogeriethe centre of excellence founded by the Richemont Group (of which the Swiss brand is a part).
Since then, the company has produced all its timepieces there. The manufacture is fully integrated, which means that each gauge is produced in-house and that each phase of creation is developed under one roof.
Spacious and well lit, the building tells the story and approach of the young company - was born in 1995 - through every detail. From the granite stone floor of the entrance, where the design of the case of the very first watch of the Maison was carved, to the creative portrait of master watchmaker and co-founder Monsieur Roger Dubuis. Up to the imposing glass staircase that occupies the central part and recalls the structure of the company's characteristic skeleton movement.
The building housing Roger Dubuis: modern and with character
The space in which the Geneva-based manufacturer is based covers an area of approximately 1,500 square metres dedicated to production and organised on three floors.
On the ground and first floors are the watchmaking ateliersincluding the finishing area, where each movement component is hand-finished to meet the requirements of the Poinçon de Genèvecustomer service can also be found there. The second and third floors house all the other teamsfrom product development to the design department, from marketing to sales.
Central to both the brand's philosophy and the building that houses it is the focus on sustainability. A manufacture that looks to the future and whose goal, as the company says, is to complete the transition to 100% renewable electricity by this year 2025.
