Locman launches the new Aviatore Frecce Tricolori, in a limited edition of 650 pieces per variant, to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale.
The Locman Aviatore Frecce Tricolori was created to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Frecce Tricolori, and is available in two versions. Both limited and numbered to 650 pieces, the two variants differ in the presence or absence of the blue PVD treatment on the case and the colour of the strap, blue or brown. The Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale (P.A.N.), commonly referred to as the Frecce Tricolori, is the most famous aerobatic team in the world, as well as the only one consisting of ten aircraft, including a soloist.
There are several details reminiscent of the Frecce Tricolori, from the sunray blue dial, with clear Arabic numerals and baton hands treated with SuperLuminova, to the seconds hand, shaped like an arrow and decorated in the colours of the Italian flag. Instead of the five-minute index here the figure '65', celebrating the 65th aerobatic season of the Frecce Tricolori. The flange features bar indices, divided into three sectors with the colours of the Italian flag, as well as the inscription 'Frecce Tricolori'. Also noteworthy is the presence, at 12, of the Aquila Turrita, the symbol of Air Force pilots, as well as the Frecce Tricolori logo at 6. At 3 o'clock is the date window.

The 44-mm steel case is available 'au naturel' or with a blue PVD treatment.
The 44 mm polished steel case is water-resistant to 10 atmospheres, is characterised by an ergonomic shape that optimises the fit. The titanium case back closed with 4 screws (on which the limited edition number is also engraved) has a mineral glass porthole screen-printed with the Frecce Tricolori logo. The one protecting the dial, on the other hand, is of the type anti-reflective, curved sapphire.
The Aviatore Frecce Tricolori by Locman is animated by the SIO (Scuola Italiana di Orologeria) calibre, mechanical with automatic winding, with a tugsten oscillating weight in blue to match the shade of the dial. The strap is made of padded natural leather, with a steel pin buckle and contrasting white stitching.
