VO Vintage 2025

From 17 to 20 January, VO Vintage, a free event open to the public dedicated to vintage watches and jewellery, returns to Vicenza.

From 17 to 20 January, vintage collecting is back in the spotlight thanks to the VO Vintage, a free event open to the public that takes place at the Vicenza Trade Fair (at Via dell'Oreficeria 16). Now in its sixth year, this year's event also hosts an exhibition dedicated to Panerai, with vintage pieces and a presentation with brand experts.

There are many new features at the 2025 edition, which will take place in the foyer on the first floor of the exhibition centre (Hall 8.1) in Vicenza. Here, some forty leading domestic and foreign dealers will present their selection of watches, fine jewellery and vintage bijoux, with special models to touch, wear and/or buy.

At VO Vintage 2025 also a special exhibition dedicated to Panerai.

Vintage Watches Milan, Steel Watches, Dei Greci and A.M. Alessandro Magnani are among the vintage watch exhibitors for the first time, enriching an offer that includes some of the names most appreciated by collectors and experts. Among them, we highlight Tempus Orologi d'Epoca by Elvio Piva, Vintage Watches by Stefano Mazzariol, Vintage Watches and Cars by Andrea Foffi, in addition to Mr. Precious Time, Spangaro Watches, Midas Jewellery. And again, Davide Pedretti Luxury Watches, Le Muse and Luigi Loiero's Lo Time.

The big news at VO Vinatge 2025, then, is the presence of an exhibition starring Panerai, featuring some of the most iconic vintage pieces of the famous Italian brand. Organised in collaboration with Stefano Mazzariolthe exhibition will be accompanied by a talk with prominent Officine Panerai figures such as Giovanni Ceppi, Heritage Curator, and Mario Paci, historical engineer of the brand. The latter will be present in the company of Loris Pasetto, Panerai vintage expert and author of the book 'Panerai, una storia italiana', and will accompany visitors to discover the secrets of the models on display.

These included one with Dody Giussani, editor of L'Orologio, as moderator.

In the best tradition of VO Vintage, the event will also be a unique opportunity to bring together the international community of watch lovers and vintage enthusiasts, thanks to a schedule of talks, workshops and technical insights that is unparalleled on the Italian scene. In an exclusive environment, it will be possible to meet face-to-face and engage directly with experts, opinion leaders, industry media and enthusiast forums on topics such as technique, style, history and investment.

Between this year's talks we highlight the one entitled "Collecting in Italy, between tradition and new trends', to be held on 18 January from 4pm to 4.45pm in the Canova Hall 8.1. It will attempt to answer questions such as: "Was collecting born in Italy? What are the trends of the past and in which models is it good to invest today?" Moderated by Dody Giussani, editor of the monthly magazine L'Orologio, this talk will see also the presence of Francesco Magnoni, Watch Expert and Business Coordinator of Antiquorum Italia.


Other talks worthy of interest are those entitled 'Between Hands and Passions: Stories of Vintage Watchmaking', scheduled on 18 January from 11 to 11.45 a.m. also in the Canova Hall, and "65 years... and they flew! Frecce tricolori and the book on Italian Watchmaking"(also on 18 January, from 12 to 12:45 p.m.). This last talk will feature Ugo Pancani (lecturer at the FHH Academy), Benedetto Perrotta (Sole Director of Oisa 1937), Marco Mantovani (President of Locman) and the Lieutenant Colonel Mariassunta Morello (Air Force Staff).
