Richemont Group announced that Jérôme Lambert is the new CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre, while Laurent Perves will hold the same position at Vacheron Constantin.
The Richemont Group announced changes at the top management of some of its brands. In particular, the new appointments concern Jaeger-LeCoultre e Vacheron Constantin. Jerôme Lambert will take over as CEO at Grande Maison, while Laurent Perves will assume the same position at Vacheron Constantin.
These new appointments follow those that were announced a few months ago, when Nicolas Bos was promoted from CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels as CEO of the Richemont Group, while Catherine Renier (previously CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre) assumed the same role at Van Cleef & Arpels. Finally, Louis Ferla, who held the position of CEO at Vacheron Constantin, replaced Cyrille Vigneron as CEO of Cartier.
If the appointment of Perves as CEO of Vacheron Constantin was predictable (he had already held the important positions of Chief Marketing Officier and Chief Commercial Officier at the Geneva-based company, which will celebrate its 270th anniversary next year), Lambert's (who also served as CEO of Richemont Group) appears more surprising. However, it should be remembered that Lambert had already held the same position at Jaeger-LeCoultre from 2002 to 2013, years during which the House launched important collections, such as Duometre and Hybris, as well as the Gyrotourbillon complication, to name but a few.
"It is with deep honour and genuine pleasure that I return to the Grande Maison, the place where I first set foot in the magnificent world of Swiss watchmaking. This opportunity is both a privilege and a return home to the craftsmanship and heritage that have shaped my career." declared Jerôme Lambert. The new appointments will become effective on 1 January 2025.
