Cyrus Genève, a creative and courageous Maison whose keyword has always been, from the outset, innovation.
Thirteen years ago, in 2010, was born Cyrus Genève: independent manufacturer founded by a family of Swiss entrepreneurs with a long experience in the luxury sector and a great passion for haute horlogerie. The aim, say the company, is 'to aim for the limits of mechanical watch engineering'.
The setting for this ambitious and challenging project is a large building just outside the centre of Le Locle, a small town in the canton of Neuchâtel in the Jura mountains. This is where the Chronode manufacture, which gives life to Cyrus Genève watches and also works in the service of other high-end watch brands.
It is directed by a well-known and respected name in the industry: Jean-François Mojon, master watchmaker with a visionary attitude who, from the very beginning, is also the creative mind behind all the brand's watches.
Cyrus Genève: everything happens in-house
From design to development, prototype assembly to testing, finishing and service, everything is done in-house.
Accommodating the workers at Cyrus Genève is a spacious and modern building, divided into three floors connected by a grit staircase and organised in a series of workshops.
There, Cyrus Genève produces around four hundred pieces each year, all of them limited edition watches and all of them evidence of the company's great technical capabilities and the large dose of originality that guides its choices.
Models with avant-garde aesthetics and major technical innovations such as the Klepcys Vertical Tourbillon which positions the tourbillon vertically, on a 90° inclined axis and for the first time in the centre of the quadrant, or the Klepcys Saysthe world's first independent double chronograph boasting two separate chronograph modules and can measure two short time intervals totally independently or in synchrony, each activated by its crown.
