The Bulgari Aluminium GMT x Fender sports the colours of the iconic Stratocaster guitar, launched 70 years ago.
On the one hand, the Fender Stratocaster: introduced in 1954, it revolutionised the world of electric guitars thanks to its innovative design and distinctive features. On the other, the Bulgari Aluminium: a watch that, with its non-conformist design and bold, modern materials such as aluminium and rubber, redefined the canons of sporty elegance in 1998. Two true pioneers, each in their own field, now united by a new collaboration.
Aluminium, in fact, becomes the perfect platform to pay homage to this legendary guitar that has defined the sound of entire generations and which turns 70 this year. The limited edition Bulgari Aluminium GMT x Fender is produced in 1.200 pieces and recalls the original Stratocaster livery and its refined soleil finish. "As lovers of watchmaking, but also of music, we have joined forces with Fender for a collaboration that transcends aesthetics; it is a celebration of tradition, design and innovation," said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari.

Brown and creamy white: the colours of the Stratocaster.
The 40 mm aluminium case, water-resistant to 100 metres, is topped by a large rubber bezel in an unusual brown colour and does not renounce the double Bulgari engraving (legacy of the Diagono). The dial also features the same shade, but shaded from light to dark brown. The second time zone is read off via the central GMT hand on the flange with its two-tone dark brown and creamy white scale. All original colours of the iconic guitar.
The applied rhodium-plated double indices are designed to resemble the frets of a Stratocaster. Brown is also the articulated rubber strap with aluminium links and redesigned Velcro fastening for greater comfort. The movement is the automatic B192 calibre based on the Sellita SW 330 and with a 42-hour power reserve. The Fender inscription personalises the DLC titanium case back. Price4,600 euro.

From the end of August, 140 limited edition sets of the Bulgari Aluminium GMT x Fender are also available for collectorsincluding the watch, its customised case (inspired by iconic guitar cases) and a book tracing the 70-year history of the Stratocaster.
In addition, upon request, Fender will make 70 Stratocasters for collectors in collaboration with Bulgari at the Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California. Handcrafted, the guitars feature a glossy lacquer finish in homage to the vintage aesthetic of the original model and the same colours as the clock.
