The next Geneva edition of Watches and Wonders, the most important international exhibition dedicated to watchmaking, scheduled from 9 to 15 April 2024, promises to be decidedly exciting. The extension of certain areas of the Palexpo, which has been hosting the event since 1991 (when it was still called Sihh), will allow new brands to be welcomed, up to a record total of 55. Six more than the previous edition: Bremont, Eberhard & Co., Gerald Charles, Nomos Glashütte, Norqain and Raymond Weil. With H. Moser & Cie. making its return at the Carré des Horlogers. And alongside prestigious names, including the ever-present Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, IWC, and TAG Heuer.
Another important new feature will be the three days open to the general public (this year there were only two), an unmissable opportunity to exchange views and interact live with the Houses and other enthusiasts. While the first four days of the fair will be reserved exclusively for insiders and the media, invited by the Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation.
An increasing number of meetings, talks and conferences are planned, for an unprecedented immersive experience. And with a special focus on the youngest, who have shown a growing interest in this sector. Also confirmed is the appointment with the LAB, the space dedicated to technological innovation applied to watchmaking, which will become even more central, thanks to the presence of start-ups, schools and engineers who will unveil the "mysteries" of the watchmaking of tomorrow.
Also confirmed is the 'In The City' format, which will take the show outside the Palexpo, with events involving the boutiques in the centre of Geneva, and a free concert scheduled for the evening of 11 April on the Quai Général-Guisan.
