75 years ago the Seamaster was born in the wake of the 1932 Marine, the world's first diver's watch for civil use. To celebrate the anniversary, Omega launches a new collection comprising eight iconic models. Common denominator: the Omega Summer Blue hue of the dial, each characterised by a greater or lesser intensity of colour proportional to the water-resistance datum.

The Summer Blue dial of the Seamaster Aqua Terra is one of the clearest, combined with water resistance of 150 metres. It is available in a 38 mm version with a sun-brushed finish dial, equipped with the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8800 calibre, or a 41 mm version with a teak-patterned dial and a Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8900 movement.

In the Aqua Terra Worldtimer, which is water-resistant to 150 metres, the 24 hours are divided into light blue for the hours of the day and dark blue for those of the night. The texture and colour obtained by laser ablation on a grade 5 titanium plate offers a representation of the Earth with a blue ocean and continents in relief. With a 43 mm case, it is equipped with the Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8938.

The Diver 300 M, with its 42 mm case, ceramic bezel and helium escape valve, has a ceramic dial in the Summer Blue hue with a wave pattern, painted with a shaded finish to reflect its water resistance. The movement is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8800 calibre. In both models, in keeping with the colour code, the hands and indices are filled with blue SuperLuminova.

The Ploprof (from 'Plongeur Professionnel', 'professional diver' in French) is water-resistant to 1,200 metres and features a dial in the Summer Blue shade with a sun-brushed finish. The bezel ring is made of sapphire crystal, to recall the chemically reinforced monolithic glass used in the first versions. This transparent glass, painted blue on the back, reveals the blue graduated scale underneath. Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912.

Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep 6000M Summer Blue

Finally, the Summer Blue on the dial of the Ultra Deep, waterproof to 6,000 metres, symbolises the darkness of the deep. In 2019, the first prototype participated in Victor Vescovo's record-breaking dive in the Mariana Trench. It shares the same movement as the Ploprof.

Pricesfrom 6,500 to 15,600 euro.
