From 1 to 4 March, Chopard was the Main Partner and Official Timekeeper of the third edition of the Coppa delle Alpi, a winter regularity race for historic cars, organised by the Mille Miglia.
Around eighty classic cars, built before 1965, took part, travelling through Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Germany, covering around 1,200 kilometres on the road, amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Alpine peaks. To mark the occasion, the Maison unveiled to the public, and handed over to the winning team, just two examples of a special edition of the Alpine Eagle watch with its original "pine green" dial, a colour characteristic of the vegetation of those places, with intense grey-green hues. With a 41 mm Lucent Steel A223 case and "Alpine Cup" inscription on the back, the watch is equipped with the Chopard 01.01-C movement, chronometer-certified.
