A fixed presence in the catalogues of many brands, from the most noble to the most commercial, the GMT is also the complication chosen by Paul Picot for its already well-known Firshire collection. The Maison's latest timepiece is in fact a GMT with a sober and modern design, with a case featuring an elegant line and an unmistakable touch of colour on the dial with the 24-hour scale in blue and yellow. It has a 40 mm diameter steel case, tapered and slim (just 8.7 mm thick), with a domed case middle and a fully polished finish.

The Firshire Ronde GMT Classic is also available in a version adorned with a rose gold bezel and crown, with a crocodile strap and a rose gold-plated buckle.

For the movement, the PP 4180 calibre was chosen, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and 42 hours of power reserve, developed in collaboration with Soprod. Through the transparent back, it is possible to observe the decoration of the bridges with the perlage motif and the openworked and enamelled oscillating weight reproducing the fir trees typical of the area where the brand's headquarters are located, in Le Noirmont, in the canton of Jura.

But the element that stands out more than any other, characterising the Firshire Ronde GMT Classic, is undoubtedly the dial. The central disc is decorated with an engraving representing the meridians and parallels, surrounded by the 24-hour second time-zone scale in yellow and blue. Applied to the outermost band are facetted and rhodium-plated hour markers, as well as hands in the classic dauphine shape. At 3 o'clock is the date window and at 12 o'clock the brand logo. The second time zone hand has an openworked arrowhead painted red, making it very easy to read. At the top, just below the Paul Picot inscription, is the Cosc "Chronometer Officially Certified" certification granted to the PP 4180 calibre. The price is between €3,145 for the steel models and €4,625 for those in steel and gold.
