A modern interpretation of the Seaslug, the diver's watch with which Ikepod made its watchmaking debut in 1990, the Seapod introduces two new elements compared to the first model in this collection launched only last year: a bronze case and the presence of the GMT function, with which the brand pays tribute to the Seaslug.
Also in common with the latter is the shape of the hour markers and hands, as well as the porthole on the back that allows one to admire the movement adopted: the Miyota 9075 calibre, mechanical with automatic winding, exclusive to Ikepod and a very few other selected brands.
Water-resistant to 200 metres, the watch has a unidirectional rotating bezel and, despite its large dimensions (46 mm in diameter and 17 mm thick), ensures great comfort on the wrist thanks to an integrated silicone strap. It is a limited edition of 150 pieces and is available in three dial versions according to the colour shade (matching that of the strap), namely blue, grey and green.
The dial itself, protected by a sapphire crystal, features hands and hour markers treated with SuperLuminova. The reference index on the bezel, also made of bronze like the case and rotating unidirectionally, has also undergone a luminescent treatment.
