"A versatile watch, perfectly suited to technical diving and urban sophistication": this is how Tudor defines the new, smaller 39 mm size of the Pelagos, which continues the brand's expertise in the diver's category and which until now was only available with a 42 mm diameter.
This is a more everyday wearable and for those who prefer smaller watches, made of satin-finished grade 2 titanium and water-resistant to 200 metres. Sporty but at the same time classic, the Pelagos 39 combines a unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic disc with the dial, both black with a satin sun-brushed finish, for an aesthetic and formal balance.
The characteristic Snowflake hands, typical of the brand's diver's watches produced from 1969 onwards, ensure optimal legibility thanks to X1-grade SuperLuminova. The applied hour markers are made of luminescent ceramic composite.
The Tudor 'T-fit' clasp allows for quick adjustment of the bracelet length so that the watch can also be worn over a wetsuit, but an additional black rubber strap with a pin buckle is also included in the package. The movement is the Cosc-certified MT5400 manufacture automatic calibre with a 70-hour power reserve.
Without sacrificing the technical characteristics of the family to which it belongs, the 39 mm enters the catalogue as a more traditional and compact alternative to the Pelagos, Pelagos LHD and Pelagos FXD, models with specific functions dedicated to highly specialised and relatively niche professional diving.
Like all Tudor models, it comes with a 5-year transferable warranty and does not require any registration or periodic maintenance checks.
