H. Moser & Cie. is developing its tourbillon movement with a cylindrical balance spring in an intriguing new version, characterised by the skeletonisation of its components. The cylindrical balance spring requires very specific expertise: suffice it to say that a cylindrical balance spring requires ten times more machining time than a traditional balance spring. The IWC-manufactured HMC 811 automatic calibre (34 mm diameter, 28 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 171 components, 74-hour power reserve, gold oscillating weight), visible through the sapphire glass porthole in the case back, is housed in a 42.8 mm steel case, water-resistant to 12 atmospheres. Hours and minutes (with Globolight luminescent hands and hour markers) are indicated on a Funky Blue smoky sub-dial at 12 o'clock. The black alligator strap is hand-stitched and comes with a personalised steel folding clasp.
