Re-launched last year as the epitome of Baume & Mercier's sporty/elegant watch, the Riviera confirms its style and evolves in new variations. Enriching the 42 mm Baumatic version is a smoky grey sapphire crystal dial revealing the gear-trains of the movement, which boasts a five-day power reserve, an accuracy of -4/+6 seconds per day and an antimagnetism of up to 1,500 Gauss guaranteeing reliable protection against magnetic fields.
Grey, in the slate shade. is also the new dial colour of the Riviera 42 mm Automatic, with a steel case and microblasted titanium bezel, with a gold PVD ring. The same design is taken up in the ladies' 36 mm variant.
Among the 33 mm versions is the "Coastline" Automatic "Swiss Made" model, which combines an all-steel livery with an original midnight blue shaded and lacquered dial embellished with 63 diamonds, forming the design of the Côte d'Azur coastline (the French Riviera's art de vivre was the inspiration for the Riviera in 1973). The asymmetry created by the setting, made possible by the juxtaposition of precious stones of seven different sizes, is a novelty for the Riviera collection.
New personality for the Classima, which marries the codes of street style in a play of colours ranging from khaki to sand beige and olive green. In a 42 mm steel case with a canvas strap. Metropolitan style, on the other hand, for the outfit that focuses on a burgundy dial with a blue flange. Enhancing Hampton's retro style is a Milanese mesh bracelet, revisited by Baume & Mercier with very narrow links in polished satin-finished steel for the benefit of a perfect fit.
