A new skeleton dial in sapphire crystal for the Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle with a complete calendar that reveals the movement used, characterised by an anthracite grey colour obtained by NAC treatment. It is the calibre 2460 QCL/2, an evolution of the 2450, the first self-winding movement entirely designed and developed by the Maison. Perfectly visible even through the caseback, it is equipped with a stop-seconds mechanism and, in addition to the triple-calendar indications, provides a precision moon-phase display requiring only one correction every 122 years. The day and month are visible through the two sapphire glass discs on the dial below the 12 o'clock index, while the date is indicated on the flange by a central hand. The moon phase disc, with the two realistic representations of our satellite, is instead located at 6 o'clock and is covered by a translucent sapphire crystal mask. This particular structure of the dial allows one to admire the various components of the movement, including the bridges and the mainplate, with their original vertical front finish. Interpreted in two versions, pink gold and white gold, the watch retains the distinctive features of the Traditionnelle collection - the round stepped case and lugs, the fluted back, the slender bezel, the minute track, the facetted Dauphine hands and the gold bâton hourmarkers. Water-resistant to 30 metres, these two Traditionnelle full calendar openface models measuring 41 mm in diameter are fitted with a grey calfskin-lined alligator strap with a pink or white gold pin buckle. The price is 47,600 euros for both versions.
