Once again this year, the Garmin Beat Yesterday Awards ceremony will take place at the beginning of December: an evening in which five projects that stood out from more than 700 applications will be honoured. Enterprises that differ from each other in terms of disciplines, motivations and environments, but which are united by the passion and determination that their protagonists have put into achieving their goal. Telling the stories of the winners, from running, cycling, automotive, outdoor and boating, will be Daniele Piervincenzi. The Garmin Beat Yesterday Awards, now in their sixth year, have become an unmissable event for all those who, in the literal spirit of the award, have been able to beat themselves in a personal achievement. This award, instituted by Garmin Italia, wants to celebrate, even before the result, the passion that the protagonist has put into achieving it: not only great adventures, but also goals in one's own 'personal' dimension that represented a challenge to be overcome. Different stories and projects, united, however, by the desire to prove to oneself that one can do it and that overcoming an apparently insurmountable limit can be a valid reason to get involved. For this 2021 edition, the format of the Garmin Beat Yesterday Awards returns to its original version, rewarding the most significant challenges completed during this year of recovery. From the 700 nominations received in just three months, five "adventures" have been selected that belong to sectors that Garmin addresses with its technology and its latest generation instruments, namely running, cycling, automotive, outdoor and nautical. The appointment is therefore set for 2 December next, in the presence of the winners and important names from the national sports scene.
