The SIHH has just come to a close, and already the next Basel event is in the offing, with the first previews already arriving. We begin with Bulgariwhich, on the occasion of its 125th anniversary, dedicates a 125-piece limited edition watch to its founder, Sotirio Bulgari.
The distinctive feature are the trapezoidal, sloping lugs integrated into the case back. Crafted in pink, yellow and white gold, it has a Bulgari-manufactured silver-toned dial with hand-applied Roman numerals and facetted indexes, and skeleton and facetted hands. It is equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement, personalised for Bulgari, calibre BVL 250. 55-hour power reserve, 32 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). Diameter 25.60 mm and thickness 3.73 mm.
The three new references are further enhanced by a double 18-carat gold back that reveals, when opened, a window to the inside of the movement
