A 38 mm white gold case completely set with baguette-cut diamonds is the new Octo Roma Tourbillon Lumière, produced in a limited edition of just 30 pieces. The case has been reduced in proportion to suit women's wrists and is fitted with a sapphire crystal both to protect the dial and on the back, which is closed with screws. The latter opens up to view the finely skeletonised and hand-decorated white gold BVL 208 calibre, an IWC-manufactured, hand-wound mechanical movement with a 64-hour power reserve and equipped with a tourbillon device. The dial is also made of white gold and is skeletonised, and an arc of a circle with diamonds and blue sapphires replaces the hour markers. A total of 239 diamonds are used, amounting to approximately 12.5 carats. The watch is completed by a blue alligator strap with a white gold folding clasp set with baguette-cut diamonds.
