Launched in 2016, the Monsieur is characterised by the jumping display of the hour indications, with the hours shown at 6 o'clock in a small window and the minutes at the top of the dial, along a 240-degree arc of a circle. In this new version called the Superleggera, the Monsieur draws inspiration from the J12 Superleggera, presented by Chanel in 2005. The Monsieur Superleggera Edition thus employs a 42 mm matt black ceramic case, water-resistant to 3 atmospheres of pressure, and combined with a black nylon strap with calfskin trim and red lining, also in calfskin. The black dial with grey parts is guilloché engraved in the centre, and displays the Superleggera inscription in red around 12 o'clock. The small seconds are indicated in the centre of the dial. The movement that animates it is Calibre 1 (170 components, 30 jewels, frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, 2 barrels in series, 72-hour power reserve, diameter 32 mm, thickness 5.5 mm), in-house, mechanical with manual winding. Finally, the watch's decidedly low weight of 74 grams should be emphasised.
