The Split Seconds Chronograph is the new split-seconds chronograph from Parmigiani Fleurier, created for the brand's 25th anniversary. Belonging to the revamped Tonda PF collection, as shown by the brand's initials alone on the dial in place of its full name, it is powered by the integrated high-frequency PF361 calibre, a recent version of one of the brand's most complex movements, fitted in 2017 on the ChronOr, a GPHG award-winning watch. The calibre, which ensures a 65-hour power reserve and is visible thanks to the sapphire crystal on the caseback, has an 18-carat rose gold plate and bridges and is capable of timing two separate events starting at the same time, with precision down to 1/10th of a second. The case, 42 mm in diameter and guaranteed water-resistant to 10 atmospheres, is made of platinum, as is the bracelet. The same material is used for the sandblasted, guilloché-decorated dial with skeleton Delta hands made of white and yellow gold to make the different indications distinguishable. Available in only 25 pieces, as many as the number of years of the Maison, the watch, like all the models in the Tonda PF line, inaugurates the new course of Parmigiani Fleurier under the leadership of the new CEO Guido Terreni. It is on sale for 155,000 euros.
