Characterised by the use of sapphire for the case, the Laureato Absolute Light collection allows the movement to be observed from all angles, allowing light to enter the 44 mm case in an original and unusual manner. Noteworthy is the fact that the case takes more than 300 hours to make. Moreover, this variant, called Bucherer Blue, is made in only 18 pieces and is available exclusively from Bucherer sales outlets. Note the blue PVD-treated plate (a tribute to Bucherer's symbol-colour), as well as the skeletonised and NAC-treated bridges. The movement used is the GP 01800-1652 calibre (diameter 30 mm, thickness 4.16 mm, 172 components, 25 jewels, 28,800 vib/h, power reserve of at least 54 hours), mechanical with automatic winding. The lugs are made of titanium, while the grey strap is made of a special rubber and titanium alloy (exclusive to Girard-Perregaux), and is combined with a titanium folding clasp with a micro-adjustment system. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 3 atmospheres.
