For the ninth consecutive year, Eberhard & Co. was at the side of Rallylegend San Marino, as Partner and Official Time Keeper of the competition. Alongside the company was Miki Biasion, the two-time world rally champion in 1988 and 1989 and Brand Ambassador for the company, who competed in an exceptional car, the Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC. The event, now in its 19th edition, saw historic cars compete with current ones this past weekend, confirming it as one of the most important motoring events in Italy and abroad. Approximately 150 crews from all over the world took turns on the track, including names of the calibre of the young Irishman Craig Breen, on board a World Rally Car from the 1990s, François Delecour, former official Ford and Peugeot driver, runner-up in the 1993 World Rally Championship, with a Ford Sierra Rs Cosworth 4×4, the Uruguayan Gustavo Trelles, multiple world champion in Group N with four consecutive titles at the wheel of a Subaru Legacy Group A, and again Gigi Galli, the last Italian driver to have worn an official World Rally uniform (on the podium at the 2006 Rally Argentina and the 2008 Rally Sweden) in a Kia Rio RX rallycross car. Guest star of the 2021 edition, Loris Capirossi, for the first time at Rallylegend at the wheel of a latest-generation Skoda Fabia R5. In 2008, Eberhard & Co. forged a special bond with him by dedicating to him a limited edition chronograph from the Chrono 4 collection, the "Capirex" model, produced in two case versions, in red gold or steel (the latter with three dial versions for a total of 195 pieces), with a case back personalised by the image of Capirossi's helmet and three symbolic stars to celebrate the world championships won, in addition to the race number 65 on the dial. Winners of Rallylegend 2021 were: Simone Brusori, with Lucia Valdiserra, in a 1985 Porsche 911 Rs 3000 for the 'Historic' category (which includes cars from the early 1960s to 1986); François Delecour, with Sabrina De Castelli, in a Ford Sierra Cosworth 4X4 for the 'Myth' category (built from 1987 to 1999); Kristian Poulsen, with Ole Frederiksen, in a 2020 Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC Plus for the 'WRC' category (built from 1999 to the present day); Sandro Giacomelli - Nicola Zancanella's 1977 Fiat 131 Abarth in the Rallylegend Heritage (competition reserved for a few original cars built up to 1982).
