Panerai's new perpetual calendar

The Luminor Perpetual Calendar by Panerai is available with a 44 mm case in Goldtech (with a brushed sun-brushed blue 'sandwich' dial) or in Platinumtech (with a green dial). On the same dial, the indications are distributed as follows: day and date window at 3 o'clock, GMT 12-hour hand in the centre, small seconds and 24-hour hand with day/night indication (relative to the central GMT hand) at 9 o'clock. The month, leap year and four-digit year are indicated on the screw-down, sapphire-glass porthole side of the case back. The movement used is the new IWC-manufactured P.4100 calibre (15 ½'', 7 mm thick, 55 jewels, 28,800 vib/h, Kif shock-absorption system), mechanical with automatic winding and equipped with a double barrel. The new Luminor Calendario Perpetuo are produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces for the Platinumtech case version and 270 pieces for the Goldtech version.
