Vacheron Constantin presents a new timepiece Les Cabinotiers in a limited edition of one. As its name suggests, Perpetual Calendar Regulator - Moonlight Jewellery Sapphire, is equipped with a regulator-type display that offers a separate reading of the minutes with a central hand, while the hours are displayed on the dial positioned at 12 o'clock. Powered by the in-house mechanical self-winding Calibre 2460 RQP, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the watch also features a perpetual calendar with precision moon phases. A complication that does not require correction until 2100 and is characterised on this model by the display of the days and months in windows on either side of the hour dial with a leap year indication at 4 o'clock. The date is indicated by a hand at 6 o'clock on a counter whose centre is dedicated to the moon phases. The timepiece, a jewel crafted by the hands of skilled artisans, is finely decorated with a row of 44 baguette-cut diamonds on the bezel and a further 36 baguette-cut diamonds on the guilloché dial with a spiral motif, alternating with 10 sapphires placed every five minutes. The sparkle of the sapphires is accentuated by the two hour and moon phase dials, which adopt the same dark blue hue. With a 42 mm white gold case, it is fastened to the wrist by a dark blue alligator leather strap with a gold pin buckle, whose profile is inspired by the shape of the Maltese cross set with 12 baguette-cut diamonds.
