Tudor presents the Black Bay Ceramic model, the only watch other than the many Omega models to have obtained the Master Chronometer certification awarded by Metas (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology) upon passing rigorous tests covering exposure to magnetic fields with control of the movement and the entire watch, chronometric precision, isochronism, power reserve and water resistance. It also bears the Master Chronometer inscription on the dial. The latter, tone in tone with the matt black one-piece ceramic case as well as the rotating bezel, is enlivened by the ivory phosphorescent coating of the applied hour markers and the characteristic "Snowflake" hands. Also in black is the hybrid leather and rubber strap, fastened by a folding clasp, as well as the black fabric strap with a cream-coloured band. At the heart of the Black Bay Ceramic is the MT5602-1U manufacture movement, completely in black, in line with the watch's overall aesthetics: it ensures a 70-hour power reserve and is equipped with a one-piece tungsten rotor, satin-brushed with sandblasted details, while the bridges and mainplate have alternating sandblasted and polished surfaces and laser decoration. It is guaranteed water-resistant to a pressure of 20 atmospheres and insensitive to magnetic fields up to 15,000 Gauss. Price: 4,510 euros.
