Panerai in a vintage key

After its official debut in 2011, bronze makes a decisive return to the Panerai collections, for the first time offered in a 42 mm model. This is the Submersible Bronze Blue Abyss (PAM01074), intended for exclusive sale in the brand's boutiques and produced in a limited edition of just 1,000 pieces per year. The watch is distinguished by the matt blue of the dial, in harmony with the warm tone of the metal, a bronze obtained from pure raw materials that exclude traces of pollution or prohibited elements such as lead. Designed to withstand the considerable stresses encountered during underwater incursions, it features a graduated one-way rotating bezel, the inimitable bridge device with crown-protecting lever, and a thick sapphire crystal, which is also echoed on the back side. It is equipped with the IWC-manufactured P.900 calibre, a new-generation self-winding mechanical movement with a three-day power reserve. Water-resistant to 30 bar (approx. 300 metres), it is fitted with a vintage-effect suede strap, blue with écru stitching, associated with a trapezoidal pin buckle also made of bronze. A second rubber strap, blue, completes the original equipment together with a screwdriver for interchangeability and removal of the buckle and a technical box made of recycled plastic. On sale for 15,500 euros.
