After last year's relaunch of the Chronomat collection with its 32, 36 and 42 mm models, Breitling is expanding its offer with the new Super Chronomat in a 44 mm case. And the quartz module for the second time zone set into the bracelet, a reminiscence of the last century, reappears. "With this watch, you get noticed, without too much care. Despite its strong and robust character, its style remains unmistakable," said Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling. Taking the characteristics of this 1980s icon to new dimensions, the Super Chronomat features a steel or gold case, a bezel with a ceramic inlay (for the first time on this model) and a choice of the historic Rouleaux bracelet or a rubber strap inspired by the Rouleaux (made by injection moulding and offered in three different textures: matt, smooth and woven). It is available in a pure chronograph version, the Super Chronomat B01 44, equipped with the Cosc-certified automatic Calibre 01 (approximately 70 hours of power reserve). A special version is equipped with a UTC module set in the Rouleaux bracelet. Referring to universal time, it offers the possibility of keeping track of a second time zone. Finally, the Super Chronomat 44 Four-Year Calendar model features a semi-perpetual calendar that only needs to be adjusted every leap year - or every 1461 days. The movement is the Breitling Calibre 19, Cosc-certified and with a 42-hour power reserve.
