In the year it celebrates its 100th anniversary, Gucci presents its first haute horlogerie collection consisting of four lines: GUCCI 25H, G-Timeless, Grip and a series of fine jewellery watches. Each of them draws inspiration from the tradition of craftsmanship and the classic elements that are the brand's heritage: natural elements, flora and fauna, and of course the Double G. These novelties are the fruit of the union between the House's innate Italian style and unparalleled Swiss professionalism, a union that is expressed in the new calibre GG727.25, Gucci's first movement developed and manufactured by the Kering Group's avant-garde movement manufacturer in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Automatic and ultra-thin, at just 3.70 mm thick, this calibre makes its debut in the GUCCI 25H, a watch that has a symbolic name: it contains a number dear to Alessandro Michele and is often included in his collections. It is offered in both steel and pavé-set models and in two tourbillon versions, in platinum and yellow gold.
G-Timeless comes in five versions: the G-Timeless Dancing Bees, with bees positioned on the dial that seem to dance to the movement of the wrist and of which tourbillon versions are also offered; the G-Timeless Automatic, featuring a bee motif, stone dial and fine leather straps; and finally the G-Timeless line with lunar motifs and the G-Timeless Pavé, an automatic model set with diamonds and a crocodile strap.
Five haute horlogerie versions of the iconic Grip model are made of precious materials and equipped with the 'Jump Hour' movement. Stone dials adorn three of the models - two in yellow gold, the other in white gold while the fourth version is made entirely of yellow gold. Each case is surrounded by 44 baguette-cut diamonds. Of absolute interest is the Grip Sapphire, completely transparent and with a case made of sapphire crystal. This variant is also equipped with the "Jump Hour" movement and is presented in four colour variants: transparent, blue, green and smoky pink.
The High Jewellery collection includes Dionysus, Lion Head and Gucci Play, each of which tells its own story in precious metals and gems.
