Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Black

For this new Seamaster, Omega has exploited the versatility of ceramic to create a watch in contrasting shades but 'coming' from a single colour. The company has obviously remained faithful to the original design of the Diver 300M, a professional diver's watch. The 43.5 mm case with its polished and brushed surface finish is made of black [ZrO2] ceramic and is fitted with an integrated rubber strap (also black) with a ceramic buckle. The crown and helium escape valve (located at 10 o'clock) are also ceramic. Although the new Seamaster Diver 300M Black features a black tone, the dial is easy to read in all situations. To ensure visibility without spoiling the aesthetics of the watch, Omega has introduced anthracite Super-LumiNova for the hands (blue emission for the hour and seconds hands, green for the minute hand), hour markers (blue emission) and triangular reference markers (green emission) on the unidirectional rotating bezel. In addition, for the first time Omega has performed laser ablation of almost every detail of the black ceramic dial. From the iconic waves, to the minute scale, to the lettering and even the Omega logo, the details have been positively embossed from a single piece. The case back, in brushed and polished black ceramic, is fitted with a sapphire crystal porthole that opens to view the Omega manufacture Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8806 (35 jewels, 25,200 vibrations per hour, 55-hour power reserve, resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 Gauss, silicon balance spring), mechanical automatic and certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). The watch is covered by a 5-year warranty. Price: 8,700 euros
