The traditional pre-Christmas auction of IWC has reached its 11th edition this year. The Maison will be auctioning on its website an exclusive one-off piece. It is a Pilot Watch UTC Edition Antoine de Saint Exupéry made especially for this occasion in a unique platinum version (Ref. IW3261), which will be sold in a virtual auction together with an edition of the short story "Wind, Sand and Stars" in English (original title "Terre des Hommes"), autographed by the author. The proceeds will go to the French association Sipar, which works to combat illiteracy in Cambodia, in particular by publishing children's books or setting up school libraries
The auction base is $39,000. The auction will start on 8 at 5pm GMT and will end on 14 December between 3pm and 5pm GMT.
Updates and information on the conduct of the auction have already been available on the site since 24 November.
