Cuervo y Sobrinos presents two new Historiador, each offering a different perspective of the moon, but with many elements in common. The first, the Historiador Luna Negra, is available in three different versions that include anthracite or sand-coloured dials with colour-coordinated hands and indices. The phases of the moon are represented through a large crescent-shaped aperture, designed to show the age of the moon as seen in the northern hemisphere. Another key feature of this model is that some areas of the dial are skeletonised, revealing a number of movement elements normally hidden from view. The second, the Historiador Doble Luna, is available in two versions, each with a blue dial. This model simultaneously displays the age of the moon in both the northern and southern hemispheres. The hours and minutes are indicated by Breguet hour and minute hands in matching colours, as well as diamond-shaped hour markers and elongated Roman numerals. On both models, a hand with a red crescent-shaped tip circumnavigates the dial, indicating the prevailing date. A brushed steel bezel occupies the central area of the dial and features two apertures, one revealing the day and one the month. The brand name adorns the upper part of the brushed bezel, while a central seconds hand completes the inventory of functions. Both the Historiador Luna Negra and the Historiador Doble Luna are housed in a 40 mm steel case and come with matching Louisiana alligator straps or steel bracelets. Their movement is the automatic CYS 6331 calibre, which incorporates an engraved oscillating weight.
