Maximilian Günther new ambassador of Cyrus Geneva

Maximilan Günther's (German driver born in 1997) passion for engines started very early, in 2005: in his first years of racing, Günther won several karting championships, including the ADAC Kart Masters in 2010. In 2011, he became vice-champion in both Formula BMW and the ADAC Formel Masters. With the support of Mercedes-Benz, came entry into the Junior Formula Series (2015). In 2015, 2016 and 2017, he participated in the European Formula 3 Championship, scoring 11 victories and finishing second and third in the Championship in 2016 and 2017, respectively. In 2018, he moves up a category, participating in the Formula 2 Championship, where he finishes 18th overall. In 2019 comes the move to Formula E, where in his first year he gets 20 of the 23 points accumulated by his team, Dragon Team. In 2020 he switched to the BMW Andretti Motorsport factory team, again in Formula E, winning two races (Chile and Germany) and finishing second in Morocco. At the age of 22, he then became the youngest winner of a Formula E race, finishing the season in ninth place overall. About the partnership with Cyrus Geneva, the German driver said: 'It is an amazing experience for me. I really appreciated it. It was a pleasure for me to discover the Cyrus universe. Each model is a perfect blend of technological innovation in mechanics combined with unique and unconventional styling. Powerful, well-finished engines that drive exclusive 'time machines' left me amazed. These are the same concepts that we find in racing cars. Maximilian Günther chose to strap the Cyrus Klepcys Chronograph in rose gold and steel with black DLC finish to his wrist. The watch is made in the Cyrus manufacture in Le Locle and is equipped with the automatic CYR314 calibre. Walter Ribaga, Managing Director of Cyrus Geneva, said: "It is a great privilege for Cyrus to have Maximilian Günther among our ambassadors. We have a lot in common. Both Maximilian and we at Cyrusi strive for performance excellence, and we work hard to always do better".
