Omega presents the Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph, featuring the use of no less than three materials, namely gold, titanium and tantalum. In particular, tantalum made its debut in watchmaking thanks to Omega in 1993 and over time has earned a prominent place in the historic Seamaster collection. In this 2020, this particular material is once again being used by the Bienne-based company. This new Seamaster, with its 44 mm case, is produced in a numbered edition and uses grade 2 titanium, 18-carat Sedna gold and the aforementioned tantalum, which can be seen on the base of the bezel and in the central links of the bracelet. The 18-carat Sedna gold bezel features a laser-ablated diving scale; the polished blue [ZrO2] ceramic dial has laser-engraved waves, a date window at 6 o'clock and sub-dials with 18-carat Sedna gold details. On the edge of the case is an 18-carat Sedna gold plate with the number of the numbered edition of the watch. On the case back is the Oemga seahorse, which has been laser-engraved and lacquered white on a sapphire crystal. Visible through the glass is the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9900 calibre certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). The bracelet is fitted with a patented push-button clasp, which makes it easy to adjust its length. The Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph is water-resistant to 30 atmospheres and comes with a special case resembling a diving chamber.
