On the occasion of the upcoming 'closed door' auction on 10 September, Faraone Casa d'Aste takes the opportunity to launch its new APP, a mobile application. Available free of charge on the Apple store, it will allow to follow the streaming sales by exploiting online bidding, send written bids, allow a simplified purchase procedure once payment details have been entered, as well as the possibility to monitor the auction history through direct access to the catalogues and any post-sale purchases. A detailed history will allow bidders to analyse their activity over time, study in detail the lots that will be auctioned in future auctions, request information, signal their favourite lots by monitoring them thanks to a notification system, as well as having constant and direct contact with Faraone through their iPhone and iPad. At the event on 10 September, the Rolex Datejust Ref.16018 from the 1980s will be auctioned, with a 36 millimetre case in 18-carat yellow gold, a blue degrading dial with diamond indexes, an original crocodile strap with an original 18-carat yellow gold buckle, and a mechanical movement with automatic winding. Among the high jewellery signatures (no less than 113 lots for sale) are Cusi, with a 1950s bracelet in platinum and yellow gold with diamonds, Chantecler with a pair of no-heat diamond and Burmese ruby earrings, and Buccellati with a Foglie collection, signed Mario Buccellati and comprising a rigid bracelet, necklace and earrings.
