A new timepiece in the G-Shock line: it is the GST-B100RH, the first collaboration model created with Rui Hachimura, a professional basketball player with whom the Japanese brand signed a global partnership agreement at the end of 2019. The model, based on the GST-B100 analogue model from the G-Steel collection, features a bezel made from a combination of materials and a large sub-dial. The predominant colour is black, but the steel parts are coated with IP (ion plating) gold. The watch is stamped with a hachi (8 in Japanese) representing both the surname and the jersey number of the player, a 22-year-old Japanese winger for the Washington Wizards; in addition, the index at 8 o'clock and the sub-dial are bright red. Embossed on the case back, strap loop and special packaging is the Hachimura logo, also known as the Black Samurai logo. "G-Shock presented me with a wonderful watch that perfectly captures the design I had envisioned. I think it goes well with different styles of clothing. It was also great to see my special Black Samurai logo engraved, an important symbol for me," said Hachimura.
