Presented the brand new Patek Philippe timepiecesThe brand new Patek Philippe timepieces have been presented: three Grand Complications that enrich the company's catalogue. The first is the Tourbillon Minute Repeater Ref. 5303, which joins the current collection with a slightly revised design, compared to last year's limited edition created for the Patek Philippe Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Singapore. It is distinguished by its open architecture without a dial that allows one to admire, even with the watch on the wrist, the minute repeater mechanism at work, including, for the first time, the hammers and gongs. The transparency continues at the level of the tourbillon, of which the back of the cage can be glimpsed through the small seconds counter at 6 o'clock. The aesthetics of the hand-wound R TO 27 PS calibre have been delicately reworked, in particular by piercing some parts like a skeleton movement. Patek Philippe also wished to celebrate its age-old expertise in the manual finishing of the movement components, with a plate embellished with circular côtes de Genève, recesses with pearl decoration and hammers embellished with a delicate circular satin finish. The highly original pink gold case is distinguished by its wide, domed, polished bezel and white gold inserts with engraved "leaf" decoration on the sides of the case middle and on the lugs of the bracelet. The white gold slide for activating the minute repeater, on the left side of the case, displays the same motif. The hour circle is presented as a black lacquered sapphire crystal ring with pink gold dusted dots. The view of the movement on the back side, through the sapphire crystal, is framed by a white gold "amphitheatre" with an openwork decoration reminiscent of that of the inserts and cursor. The second Grande Complication is the Chronograph à rattrapante Ref. 5370P-011 with a new blue Grand Feu enamel dial that replaces the previous version with a black enamel dial. The hours and minutes are displayed with extreme clarity thanks to slender, luminescent-coated "leaf" hands and applied white gold Breguet-style numerals. The same precision and rapidity of reading also characterise the measurement of short times, with the slender central chronograph and split-seconds hands, the hand of the instantaneous 30-minute counter in white gold, and the white-printed scales standing out against the blue background. The two-stroke chronograph movement features two pushers for the three chronograph functions and a pusher integrated in the crown at 3 o'clock for the split-seconds hand. The elegance of the polished platinum case, with its concave bezel and hollowed, satin-finished flanks, is enhanced by a shiny midnight blue alligator strap fitted with a platinum folding clasp. Like all Patek Philippe watches made of this material, the new Ref. 5370P-011 features a small diamond set between the bracelet lugs at 6 o'clock. The third and final Grand Complication is the Ref. 5270J-001 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, a new interpretation of a great yellow gold classic, now, for the first time, equipped with a yellow gold case: an elegant "outfit" for this timepiece with its timeless style that combines a concave bezel and godron bracelet lugs. The silver-toned opaline dial, with applied "baton" hour-markers and yellow gold "leaf" hands, is distinguished by its great legibility. The perpetual calendar displays are legible and balanced, with a date hand at 6 o'clock and a double window for the day of the week and the month at 12 o'clock, complemented by two small round windows for the day/night indicator and the leap-year cycle, and a moon-phase window. The chronograph indications stand out with their sand-blasted hands. Combined with the chronograph, the tachymeter scale allows the hourly speed to be measured. The calibre CH 29-535 PS Q, the first perpetual calendar chronograph movement entirely developed and manufactured by Patek Philippe (2011), is characterised by its traditional architecture (horizontal coupling, column wheel and manual winding), combined with six patented chronograph-related innovations, and its extraordinarily flat calendar mechanism (1.65 mm for 182 components). The movement is visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back. Also delivered with the watch is an interchangeable solid case back in yellow gold. The new Ref. 5270J-001 is worn with a hand-stitched, square-scaled, matt chocolate brown alligator strap with a yellow gold folding clasp. This timepiece joins the previous versions in platinum and pink gold. Approximate retail prices (incl.
