Panerai and the new Luminor Marina variant

The natural successor to the historic diver's watch conceived in the early 1950s, the new Luminor Marina - 44mm (PAM01313) marks yet another stage in Panerai's evolutionary process. On the dial, in the tone of blue with a satiné soleil finish and with its characteristic sandwich structure, the new-generation white SuperLuminova with green luminescence stands out. The case, in brushed AISI 316L steel, houses the P.9010 calibre, an automatic movement just 6 mm thick, entirely designed and developed in-house at the Panerai manufacture in Neuchâtel: reliable and precise, it has a three-day power reserve provided by a double barrel and is distinguished by the practical function for rapid time adjustment, which can be modified in steps of one hour forwards or backwards, automatically linked to the date indicator. Water-resistant to 30 bar (approximately 300 metres), the new Luminor Marina is combined with an alligator leather strap with a brushed steel pin buckle. A second technical rubber strap completes the standard equipment with an interchangeable tool and a screwdriver for removing the buckle. The watch, arriving at Panerai Boutiques and official dealers, costs 7,700 euros.
