The main model in the new Master Control collection recently unveiled by Jaeger-LeCoultre at the virtual Watches & Wonders 2020 event incorporates a newly developed movement, the calibre 759, which combines a chronograph and a complete calendar with moon phases. Brought together for the first time in a single Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece, these complications evoke the ancient links between watchmaking art and astronomy. The new Calibre 759 features a column-wheel chronograph with vertical coupling, a moon phase indicator and a 65-hour power reserve. Elaborating a dial with a balanced appearance, combining the familiarity of two classic complications - the triple calendar and a bi-compax chronograph - Jaeger-LeCoultre's designers have made reading the indications simpler and more intuitive, despite the quantity of information. The 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock is balanced by the continuous seconds counter at 9 o'clock, while the day and month windows at the top of the dial are offset by the moon phases and date indicator hand at 6 o'clock. Along the edge of the dial is the pulse-metre scale. Completing the timeless style of this Master Control Chronograph Calendar are rectangular chrono buttons. The watch is available with a steel case (pictured) or in Le Grand Rose gold.
