New creations in Baume & Mercier's Hampton collection, recognisable by the rectangular-shaped case of its models. Emblematic of the Art Deco movement, the curves of the Hampton watch eschew right angles and enhance the light that glides over smooth surfaces. The new models feature a polished steel case and come in three sizes: 35 x 22.2 mm (small); 43 x 27.5 mm (medium); 48 x 31 mm (large). The automatic versions dedicated to the men's universe have a sapphire crystal case back screwed down with four screws, showing off the movement used, which differs according to the model and has a power reserve of 38 or 42 hours. The dials are silvered and grainé, with multiple opaline textures, and feature black ruthenium hands in the shape of gladius, in stark contrast to the colour of the dial. The straps are in black alligator leather, but are also available in additional brown, grey or navy blue versions. The Hampton line also offers a version with a large date with a dual time-zone and day/night indicator; the Soprod TT651 automatic movement, adorned with a Côtes de Genève engraving, ensures a 42-hour power reserve. The ladies' versions are powered by a new-generation quartz movement with an optimised 7-year power reserve; they sport dials that are dressed in silver, satin-blue with a sunburst decoration or white mother-of-pearl, with or without diamonds. The straps are all about colour, but a three-row metal bracelet variant is also available.
