Through a liquid of an intense blue colour flowing unceasingly through two tiny compressors, and a stylistic signature centred on three-dimensionality and transparency, HYT's H5 watch shows the passage of time. It took two years to develop the mechanism behind it, the hand-wound 501 manufacture calibre. Visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, an intricately shaped cam offers thirteen different possibilities for adjusting and indexing the hour and minute indications, ensuring that they work in unison. An oversized curved lever links the relevant elements of the movement. This sets up a complex chain reaction that causes the calibre to press against a regulating bellows with walls four times thinner than a human hair to start the next twelve-hour journey. The new H5 version of HYT combines a number of shades of grey, from anthracite on the hour ring and flange to a gunmetal-coloured bridge. The dial is enlivened by the white Super-LumiNova® under the blue liquid indicating the elapsed time and the neoralite hour ring. A bright red arc and a black hand, matching that of the seconds counter, mark the power reserve. The blue version of HYT's H5 watch is available in a limited edition of 25.
