The auction's top lot, a white gold ring with a 33.40 ct rectangular-cut Ceylon sapphire, unheated. , is followed by two necklaces, the first of which is composed of five strands, two of diamonds (43ct.), one of emeralds (18ct.), one of sapphires (63.56ct.) and one of rubies (34.07ct.) that can be worn together or individually in different compositions at the wearer's discretion. The second necklace is composed of baguette-cut diamonds surrounded by a crown of brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 52ct. with a central diamond of 1.57ct. Two strands of 49 and 57 SSEF-certified natural pearls respectively conclude the jewellery proposal. To complement the jewellery and watchmaking pieces, the Auction House presents a collection of unique jewellery pieces, with the hippo as the leitmotif, designed by the Italian-Argentinian artist, Micaela Signorini. These creations, which are part of an extensive collection of more than 6,000 pieces all with the same theme, are followed by a collection of 21 precious glass or ceramic vases painted in silver for which only written bids will be accepted.
