Louis Vuitton: a 'travel' dial

A watch dedicated to travel that sums up the historical heritage of the Louis Vuitton Maison. The Tambour World Tour is inspired by Gaston Louis Vuitton's collection and the possibility of personalising one's luggage with hotel and travel company labels, which were originally attached to travellers' trunks as a symbol of the art of travel, making each piece of luggage unique. Today, the labels can be found on the dial and strap of this new Tambour model. Powered by a quartz movement, it is made of steel and is available in four different diameters: 28, 34, 39.5 and 41.5 millimetres.
The dials of the Tambour World Tour models are developed by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton and perfectly reproduce the House's two iconic canvases, Monogram and Damier Graphite. All four models are equipped with interchangeable straps which, thanks to Louis Vuitton's innovative patented system, need no tools to be replaced.
The World Tour theme can also be found on a steel table clock with a Damier Cobalt dial, customised with stickers and protected by a sapphire crystal sphere. As a further homage to the travel theme, it also features a second time zone, the index of which is shaped like a missile.
