With its new Masterpiece Régulateur Roue Carrée, Maurice Lacroix reinvents the shape of the wheel by proposing it in an unusual square shape. The display of the hours on the dial, in fact, is enclosed within a special square wheel with gears, located at 12 o'clock. At 3 o'clock, on the other hand, is the power reserve, at 6 o'clock the small seconds, while the central minutes are indicated by a special central hand. The heart of the watch is the automatic ML 153 calibre (the company will no longer produce quartz models from now on). In a limited edition of 99, the Masterpiece Régulateur Roue Carrée is on sale for €8,200.
