Longines Global Champions Tour

From 21 to 24 September, the Stadio dei Marmi in Rome hosted the fourteenth leg of the 2017 Longines Global Champions Tour, a major show-jumping circuit for which the House of Saint-Imier is Title Partner and Official Timekeeper. The most eagerly awaited stage, the one that precedes the closing day of the event, saw Evelina Tovek, 24-year-old Swedish rider and pupil of Olympic rider Henrik Von Eckermann, climb to the top of the podium. The young horsewoman won among the big names in show jumping riding Castello 194, ahead of Dutch rider Harrie Smolders with Don VHP Z, second place, and German rider Marcus Ehning with Funky Fred, third place. Finally, the Longines Global Champions Tour was the occasion to discover the Official Watch of the event, a 29 millimetre diameter ladies' model from The Longines Master Collection, distinguished by a brand new sun-blue dial embellished with twelve diamonds in place of the indexes. Its look is completed by a refined alligator leather strap, matching the shade of the dial.
