Casio crosses the finish line of the 100 millionth G-Shock sold, which was celebrated with a special ceremony on 31 August at Casio's Yamagata premium production site. The model in question is the MRG-G1000B-1A4 of the MR-G series, which for the occasion was equipped with a customised case back engraved with the number 100,000,000. The MRG-G1000B-1A4 is equipped with a hybrid time reception system that combines GPS and radio control. The design is characterised by technological, impactful design, embellished with crimson details evoking the bright red lacquered armour of elite samurai.
